California raisins can be found in any well-stocked supermarket. We are not talking about a brand directly, but about the fruit from California. They can be found, for example, in the red, square packaging of Sunmaid or in the chocolate of Rittersport. They are often highlighted on packaging because of their naturalness and caramel flavor. So the California Raisins Representative Office aims to draw attention to the Californian powerhouses in Germany. For this purpose, they have already requested a YouTube Ad in cooperation with our Google Ads partner agency in 2021. After successful cooperation, we implemented a second campaign in 2023.
Due to the pre-determined budget, we advised them to use a mix of stock & live-action film. We produced a YouTube Ad for the target group of nutrition-conscious, lifestyle-oriented mothers. The idea was not to focus directly on a brand, but to make the sunny feeling of California tangible. We produced both a YouTube ad, promotional photos, and 2 vertical videos in a half day of shooting.
The first video has achieved over 400k views and has also been acquired by the California Raisin Representative Office in Mexico. The second video is now live.
